Brewery 't IJ - Free IPA

Amsterdam-based brewery 't IJ is known for their typical IJ puns in their beers such as IJndejaars, PaasIJ and IJwit. In addition to these seasonal beers, IJwit has now become indispensable in all seasons, one of the most popular beers in our Capital city and not for nothing the clone beer during the Open Dutch Championship for amateur brewers in 2020.

With the Free IPA, brewery the IJ takes a first step in brewing alcohol-free beer, both the IPA and the Free IPA from 't IJ have a distinct hop aroma due to the use of fine hops. Amarillo provides a fruity aroma of orange and lemon and is slightly spicy, Azacca contains a tropical fruit scent combined with pine-apple rosemary.

The hops really matter when pairing with food. For example, the use of rosemary in food is already very prevalent and often makes food too spicy when paired with a beer like this.

Cheers
