Low-alcohol Tripel Hop Beer
Low-alcohol Tripel Hop is in fact not a beer style but a further development of Tripel. We think this beer is so characteristic that we would like to show it to you separately. This rich beer will certainly surprise you when you organise a non-alcoholic beer tasting.
Flavour
Hops! Lightly sweet at the start, spicy in character and bitter in the aftertaste. A damn rich beer. Just like non-alcoholic Tripel, this sub-species goes well with asparagus or cheesecake.
About Tripel Hop
Triple beer has its origins in the Westmalle Trappist brewery. Hendrik Verlinden from the Drie Linden brewery brewed the first blonde-coloured triple beer here at the beginning of the 1930s, together with the Trappists. At the time, it was called super beer because of its strong character. The recipe was based on a blond beer that the monks had been brewing sporadically since 1931. Only around 1936 did the name Tripel beer appear.
The terms double, triple and quadruple say nothing about the mathematical proportions of ingredients in the beer. It only says something about the alcohol percentage. Strong, stronger, strongest. Without alcohol of course.
Offer
The brewery from which we offer low-alcohol Tripel Hop is Force Majeur.
