About Triple beer

Tripel beer is a Belgian style of beer that originated in the 1930s. The beer was developed by the monks of Westmalle Abbey, who had been brewing beer since the 19th century. The abbey of Westmalle is located near Antwerp.

The name "triple" is reportedly derived from the brewing process. The beer is brewed in a completely natural way with three times as much malt as normal beer, and is therefore also referred to as "triple." The name may also refer to the three stages of the brewing process: wort brewing, fermentation and maturation.

Tripel beer is a Belgian beer known for its complex flavor and higher alcohol content. Made from barley malt, hops and water, it is traditionally brewed with a higher amount of malt and different malts than other beers.

The taste of Tripel without alcohol
