Brouwerij ’t IJ uit Amsterdam is bekend door hun typisch IJ woordspelingen in hun bieren zoals IJndejaars, PaasIJ and IJwit. Naast deze seizoensbieren is IJwit inmiddels onmisbaar geworden in alle seizoenen, een van de populairste bieren in onze Hoofdstad en niet voor niets het kloonbier tijdens het Open Nederlands Kampioenschap voor amateurbrouwers in 2020.
With the Free IPA , brewery the IJ takes a first step in brewing alcohol-free beer, both the IPA and the Free IPA from 't IJ have a distinct hop aroma due to the use of fine hops. Amarillo provides a fruity aroma of orange and lemon and is slightly spicy, Azacca contains a tropical fruit scent combined with pine-apple rosemary.
The hops really matter when pairing with food. For example, the use of rosemary in food is already very prevalent and often makes food too spicy when paired with a beer like this.
