Big Drop Brewing Co - Paradiso Citra IPA
Another fantastic beer from Big Drop that for the 10 kcal per can again contains a lot of flavor. By comparison, a lager with the same amount contains up to 140 kcal.
The Paradiso Citra IPA has a hefty selection of hops added, making the aroma complexly tropical fruity, with citrus being the most dominant factor. The beer is very light in color, even lighter than the familiar pilsner. The beer is very dry and comes across as more bitter than it actually is. Yet it is not watery due to the addition of wheat and oats in the recipe.
Despite its dryness, the beer is easy to drink through and each sip invites the next. The name Citra comes from a hop variety from America that has a long and complex growing history and even overtook Cascade as the most popular hop variety in 2018 (10 years after release).
