Beer Brewery The Magistrate - Sister Of The Maid
The aroma of yellow fruit and fruity hops land first in your nose when pouring this beer. The aromas and flavors of star fruit, persimmon and mango combined with a light bread-like malt flavor make this one taste expansive. The beer has a slight fresh acidity and honey-like sweetness. The aftertaste is bitter and sweet. Unique in its kind and pairs well with a bruschetta with tomato and fresh basil.
Brewery de Magistraat from Almkerk was founded by brothers Hans Anton and Clement in an old farmhouse from the 17th century that has been adapted and converted for fermenting and storing many hectoliters of beer.
Handmaid's Sister is a non-alcoholic nod to the fruit beer Handmaid of the State Collector.
