About the brewer
There is a growing demand for alcohol-free and low-alcohol beers that has been playing up among Dutch consumers in recent years. Research by the Dutch Brewers shows that 1 in 14 beers sold in 2020 was alcohol-free/poor. After months of research, the brewers at De Hoorn Brewery are "proud" of the Cornet Alcohol-free.
The base of this beer is the Cornet Oaked, to preserve the characteristics of the beer to the maximum. They reduce the alcohol in a state-of-the-art brewing installation to 0.3% alcohol and then oaken the beer again. After all, a conscious decision, not to go back to 0.0% alcohol, as this allows them to even better maximize the familiar wood character and vanilla note.
