Unlike other beers, Chouffe non-alcoholic is brewed using a special type of yeast that prevents sugars from being converted into alcohol during the fermentation process.

We often get that question. The presence of that very small amount of alcohol is peculiar to the manufacturing process of fermented beverages. In fact, even smoothies or juices made from very ripe fruit can contain traces of alcohol. Did you know that some breads even contain more than 1% alcohol?

Under Belgian law, all beers containing less than 0.5% alcohol are considered non-alcoholic. The new Chouffe Non-Alcoholic contains 0.0% alcohol, which is why we can call this Chouffe a non-alcoholic beer.
