About the brewer
Steve Gammage was born in Richmond UK in the county of Yorkshire, not far from the Scottish border. During one of his many travels he meets Yvonne and he decides to follow her and settle in the Netherlands. He marries her and sets up his own painting business specializing in restoration work. At the age of fifty he decides to change his life:
Steve quits his painting business and starts a brewery in a now-purchased farmhouse in Rha, a hamlet near Bronkhorst. In 2010, Rodenburg Brewery gets underway, named after the former horse farm "Rodenburg" that was located in the farmhouse.
The Bronckhorster Brewing Company's assortment consists of a number of regular beers, the BA series and Next Generations. In addition, Steve regularly brews new specialty beers, which, depending on interest, stand a chance of making it into the standard assortment.
