About the brewer
Erdinger is the world's largest wheat beer brewery. It is available everywhere, popular in Germany and also in the European Union. Erdinger was founded in 1886 by Johann Kienle. Erdinger beer is the city's most famous culinary product; however, the brewery only received its current name in 1949 from the owner Franz Brombach, who had acquired the brewery 14 years earlier.
