Netherlands
Deliveries within the Netherlands: €8.67 per order, free delivery on orders of €75 or more.
Outside the Netherlands: delivery charges per box
For international deliveries, you pay postage per box. We dispatch in boxes of 6, 12 or 24 compartments. One compartment fits a bottle or two tins; a large tin (44 or 50 cl) and a Guinness tin take up a whole compartment. The online shop calculates automatically how many boxes your order requires. You’ll see the exact amount at checkout.
If you spend €250 or more, you’ll pay half the delivery charge.

Example: 30 bottles are being sent to Germany in one box of 24 and one box of 6. You will then pay €17.95 + €12.95 = €30.90.
The prices quoted are for a full box. A lighter box may be cheaper, whilst an extra-heavy box (for example, containing wine or Guinness trays) may be slightly more expensive. For other countries, you’ll see the delivery charges at checkout.
Pick up
You can pick up your order at our office in Udenhout; to do so, select the “pickup” option when placing your order. You’ll receive a notification when your order is ready for pickup. Please note that pickup is by appointment only; the address for picking up orders is Ampere 3 in Meppel. You can also make a purchase on-site. If you’d like to pick up an order, please always place your order in advance so we can have it ready for you—there isn’t always someone available at our warehouse.
Delivery time
Orders that are in stock and placed before 4:00 p.m. will be shipped within 3 business days; orders placed after 4:00 p.m. or on the weekend will be shipped the next business day. If items are out of stock, delivery will take an average of 2 additional business days. You will receive a separate notification regarding this.
Reimbursement of delivery costs
If the consumer has timely exercised his or her right of withdrawal and as a result has timely returned the complete order to Alcohol Free Beer House, Alcohol Free Beer House will refund any shipping costs paid by the consumer within 14 days of receipt of the timely and complete returned order to the consumer.
The cost of delivery shall be borne by Alcohol Free Beer House only to the extent that the entire order is returned.
Returns
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. You have another 14 days after cancellation to return your product. You will then be credited the full order amount excluding shipping costs. The cost of return from your home to the store is for your own account. These costs are approximately 7.25 per package, for the exact rates please consult the website of your carrier. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original condition and packaging. To exercise this right, please contact us at info@alcoholvrijbierhuis.nl. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of notification of your return provided the product has already been received in good order.
Complaints
We recommend that you first submit any complaints to us by emailing klantenservice@alcoholvrijbierhuis.nl. If this does not lead to a resolution, you may submit your dispute for mediation through Stichting WebwinkelKeur. As of February 15, 2016, consumers in the EU can also file complaints through the European Commission’s ODR platform. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr . If your complaint is not already being handled elsewhere, you are free to file it through the European Union’s platform.
Packaging and empties
Alcoholvrij Bierhuis is based in the Netherlands and is therefore required to charge a deposit on empty containers; you will receive a refund for this deposit as soon as you return the empty bottles and/or cans to a designated return location, which can be done at virtually any supermarket or liquor store. It is also possible to return your empties to us. You can do this by dropping off (by appointment) the empty bottles and/or cans at our warehouse at Leeuwenveenseweg 10, 7921 VE Zuidwolde, or by mailing them back to us (you are responsible for the return shipping costs).
