Põhjala – Virmalised 0 IPA 0.5%
The Põhjala Virmalised 0 IPA 0.5% is a fresh, citrus-forward low-alcohol IPA from Estonia. Hoppy, fruity, and just a little more exciting than the average non-alcoholic IPA. Because in addition to tropical fruit and fresh citrus, you’ll also find notes of pine resin, spruce shoots, and a hint of spicy pepper.
The name Virmalised is Estonian for the northern lights. And honestly, it’s a fitting name. This beer has a lively and unique character. The aroma features lemon, citrus, pineapple, and a hint of floral notes. The flavor leans toward overripe mango, melon, fresh citrus, and soft grains, with a refreshing finish featuring pine, lemon zest, and a subtle tingle.
Brewed with Citra hops, spruce shoots, oats, and lactose, among other ingredients. This gives the IPA a lovely balance of freshness, fruitiness, light creaminess, and spiciness. A low-alcohol IPA for those who enjoy discovering something just a little bit different.
