About the brewer
Paulaner is a German brewery founded in Munich in 1634 by the Minim friars of the Neudeck ob der Au monastery. The mendicant order and the brewery are named after Francis of Paola, the order's founder. Paulaner is one of six breweries supplying beer for Oktoberfest.
