Alcohol-free and low-alcohol beer for autumn

Autumn time! Time for the tastiest non-alcoholic special beers!

For me personally, autumn is one of the favourite times of the year, after a nice walk, relax on the couch with a strong dark beer. There are only a few dark special beers left in the non-alcoholic and low-alcohol range. In this blog I take you through a selection of my personal favourites.

Dark beers are often very sweet, this can be nice but I personally like them when the flavours are a bit more balanced. In this overview, no sugar bombs but the real quality beers in my opinion.

Big Drop Brewing - Woodcutter - Brown Ale

Big drop's woodcutter brown ale is a delicious dark beer. a great beer to drink on a Sunday afternoon in combination with a stew or pumpkin. The taste has hints of caramel and fruit. Of the dark beers, this is the one with the lightest taste.

Big Drop Brewing - Galactic Milk - Stout

The Galactic stout from Big Drop is, as far as I am concerned, the heavier counterpart to the Woodcutter brown ale, this beer is somewhat fuller in flavour and therefore a light stout. The aroma and taste of chocolate and honey are pleasant. The beer is one of my personal favourites.

Nøgne Ø Svart/Hvit - Stout

The Nøgne Ø Svart/Hvit is really a wonderful beer. It is full of flavour and, even though it is alcohol-free, you do not just drink three of them. A wonderful balance of coffee, vanilla and chocolate make the beer full of flavour. The beer combines well with delicious autumnal dishes based on pumpkin, beef and nuts. Highly recommended.

Van de Streek - Pony Play - Stout

The new pony play from vandestreek is very tasty, the beer is a real stout with a smoky taste. The beer can feel a bit watery but you get used to that quickly and it is actually quite tasty, although I must admit that it is a taste you have to love. This beer is not for everyone, do you like a real stout? Then it is definitely a must.
