Since 1961, a Lenten campaign has been conducted around projects in developing countries and the church also collects money to improve the lives of others.

Not all Christians in our time fast intensively any more. However, certain things are handled differently in various ways during this period. Think of this:

• less meat
• healthier life
• no social media
