About the brewer
At Van Moll, they’re mad about beer, which is why they brew it. They experiment and fine-tune the balance – daring, sometimes a touch mad, but never over the top. Tradition, expertise and a touch of mischief, always with an eye for balance. A fixed core range of beers and a changing selection of amazing specials. But… according to Van Moll, beer is about much more than just a balanced flavour.
It’s all about stimulating all your senses. That’s why they devote the same attention and dedication to everything that happens outside the glass as they do to our beers. Van Moll adds extra ingredients such as art, music, food, film and entertaining & informative reading material. To make your experience complete. Time and time again. In other words, Van Moll enhances your beer experience. Finally, mTo read more about Van Moll Craft Beer and its history, click here.
A flavour profile full of discoveries
The name ‘Wanderlust’ wasn’t chosen at random. This IPA strides briskly through the world, taking you on a journey past sunny citrus groves. You’ll immediately recognise the aromatic influences of American hop varieties, which bring notes of passion fruit and a resinous accent reminiscent of walks amongst pine trees.
Despite its low alcohol content of just 0.3%, the beer doesn’t feel watery. The use of oat flakes in the brewing process gives Wanderlust a silky-smooth mouthfeel and a body that you’d normally only expect from heavier beers. The finish is exactly as an IPA should be: a pleasant, dry bitterness (IBU 31) that lingers on the palate.

What do you wear with the Van Moll Wanderlust?
Thanks to its fruity and bitter character, this IPA is ideal for bold food pairings:
- Spicy dishes: The citrus notes cut beautifully through the heat of a Thai curry or Mexican tacos.
- Young cheeses: Think of a soft goat’s cheese or a young farmhouse cheese.
- Grilled vegetables: The resinous pine notes go well with the smoky flavour of the barbecue.
