About the brewer

Brewery het Slaapmutske was founded in 1999 by Dany De Smet and Marleen Vercaigne. The story goes that they had already developed their beer, but the name for the brewery had not yet been decided. At the time, they once dipped their infant son's pacifier into their nameless beer ... And it put him to sleep in a good mood. That's how Dany and Marleen ended up with "Sleepmutske."
