About the brewer

Paulaner is a German brewery founded in Munich in 1634 by the Minim brothers of the Neudeck ob der Au monastery. The mendicant order and the brewery are named after Francis of Paola, the founder of the order. Paulaner is one of the six breweries supplying beer for the Oktoberfest.
