About the brewer
The Brabant Muifelbrouwerij started in 2006 and its mission is to produce excellent beers in as diverse styles as possible.
The name comes from a contraction of Megen and Devil. Muifelbrouwerij was born in the small town of Megen as a hobby brewery where a Duvel-like beer soon went through life as a Muifel. Muifelbrouwerij is located in the village of Berghem (east of Oss). There have been several breweries producing Muifelbrouwerij in the past. It all started at the Maaslandbrouwerij in Oss, which unfortunately went bankrupt in 2010. Since 2013, they have been using the brew kettles of two breweries: Sint Servattumus in Schijndel and De Proefbrouwerij in Lochristi. With great care, the Muifel beers are brewed, bottled, re-fermented in the bottle and packaged there. More about the history of Muifel Brewery click here.
