About the brewer
The story of Force Majeure begins with triathlete Stijn Panis’ passion. In 2019, he decided that his love for Belgian beer culture didn’t have to take a back seat to his healthy, active lifestyle. There was just one thing missing: a high-quality Belgian craft beer without alcohol.
Force Majeure is currently the only brewery in Belgium that focuses entirely and exclusively on non-alcoholic beers. No compromises on taste, but the freedom to raise a toast anytime, anywhere. With a deep-rooted respect for traditional brewing styles, Stijn brings classics like Blond, Dubbel, and this Tripel into the modern world of 0.0. With Force Majeure, you’re choosing Belgian craftsmanship—but on your own terms.
A complex flavor profile featuring three grains
What immediately sets the Force Majeure Tripel apart is its blend of three different grains: barley, wheat, and oats. This mix creates a solid, full-bodied foundation. From the very first sip, you’re greeted by a pleasant, slightly sweet flavor profile that’s characteristic of this style.
The flavor profile is distinctly spicy, giving the beer a lovely complexity. Thanks to the oats, this tripel has a strikingly round and smooth finish. It’s a beer you don’t just set aside, but one you really take the time to savor and discover all its nuances. It’s no surprise that this beer scores an impressive 2.9 on Untappd—a very high score for an alcohol-free beer in this challenging category.
