Brewed to be vegan and gluten-free, with added vitamin B5, vitamin B12 and protein. A thirst-quenching and energy-rich beer that can be enjoyed before, during and after exercise.

About the brewer

Broeder Jacob Brewery was founded by two beer enthusiasts, Johan Claes and Bruno Verbiest. Their first brew was ready on 16 October 2010. The cafeteria at the retirement and care home was the first to host the tasting Huyze De Pauw in Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver. The beer is now available in several off-licences and restaurants and bars.

The name of the beer refers to the internationally well-known children’s song Brother Jacob, known in the Netherlands as ‘Vader Jacob’. The creators have deliberately chosen to establish a link with the music. That is why the musical notes of the song feature on all the beer bottles and glasses.
