Sportzot pilsener is a delicious fresh alcohol-free specialty beer from brewery de Halve Maan in Bruges. Sportzot colors blond, has a nice head and also a clearly recognizable hop aroma in the nose and in the taste. The beer is balanced with notes of malt and hops, and has a fine bitter aftertaste.

As a base, the famous Brugse Zot Blond was used for this, which was brewed with 4 different malts and 2 aromatic hop varieties. The beer was created from a selection of only the best ingredients. The use of aromatic hops has therefore given the beer a complex character with hints of citrus.

About the brewer

Brewery De Halve Maan, also known as Brewery Henri Maes, is a brewery located in the Belgian city of Bruges. This is the story of a Bruges brewing family that has always believed in authentic Bruges beer. Six generations of brewers followed each other since 1856, each time with the same goal: to obtain superior and optimal quality of their beers with respect for tradition!

In September 2016, the brewery inaugurated a double beer pipeline connecting the brewery on Walplein to bottling plant in Waggelwater. The pipeline, which carries both Brugse Zot and Straffe Hendrik, is 3.2 km long and is 34 meters deep underground in some places.
