The Crooked Herring - Sand Driver
Brewpub De Kromme Haring is known for using special yeast cultures and lactic acid bacteria, making existing styles interesting and innovative. With the nod to all kinds of fish, the brewer has also created a unique combination with this beer.
Sand Driver 0.3 represents the lizard fish and with a slightly sour and slightly salty taste, it is typically reminiscent of the sea, a pickle or tzatziki. Yet combined with fine hops and a sweet base, it is very flavorful. A slightly sour beer with a bit of salt is often called a gose and this beer is a bit like that.
A truly thirst quencher! The addition of wheat and oats has made the beer thicker than you are used to from a non-alcoholic beer and contributes to a flavorful whole.
