About the brewer
The story of Force Majeure begins with triathlete Stijn Panis’ passion. In 2019, he decided that his love for Belgian beer culture didn’t have to take a back seat to his healthy, active lifestyle. There was just one thing missing: a high-quality Belgian craft beer without alcohol.
Force Majeure is currently the only brewery in Belgium that focuses entirely and exclusively on non-alcoholic beers. No compromises on taste, but the freedom to raise a toast anytime, anywhere. With a deep-rooted respect for traditional brewing styles, Stijn brings classics like Blond, Dubbel, and this Tripel into the modern world of 0.0. With Force Majeure, you’re choosing Belgian craftsmanship—but on your own terms.
Flavor profile: Three grains and unique hops
What makes the Force Majeure Tripel Hop so special is the careful blend of ingredients. This beer is brewed with three different grains, giving it a full body and a slightly sweet start. But don’t be fooled by that initial sweetness; the spicy character quickly comes through.
The real star of the show is the hops. The use of unique hops gives this beer a deliciously bitter finish that lingers. The result? A delicious beer for those who love authentic hop flavors—but completely alcohol-free.

What should you eat with this Tripel Hop?
Thanks to the robust bitterness and spicy character of Force Majeure Tripel Hop, this beer pairs perfectly with bold flavors. While a standard Tripel can sometimes get lost when paired with spicy food, the Tripel Hop really holds its own. Try these pairings:
-
Spicy curries: the bitter hops perfectly complement the spices in a Thai green curry or an Indian Madras curry.
-
Aged cheeses: pair the beer with a crumbly aged cheese or a tangy blue cheese (such as Roquefort). The bitterness cuts through the cheese’s richness beautifully.
-
Grilled meat or meat substitutes: the spiciness pairs perfectly with a grilled burger (with plenty of pepper) or marinated satay from the barbecue.
-
Fatty fish: think smoked salmon or mackerel; the hoppy notes instantly refresh your palate after every bite.
