The \"Beer with Benefits<\/a>\" they brewed in collaboration with Vandestreek<\/a> contains the characteristics of an IPA, deliciously hoppy and fruity with scents of peach and mango. The beer foams well and is quite full despite the 0.5%, this is probably due to the extra protein. It has a slight carbonation and is slightly sour, making it drinkable and thirst-quenching. There is also a slight sweetness to it, which I recognize from protein shakes. The beer is somewhat similar to a New England IPA but still has a distinctive slightly bitter taste of a lager.
