Kevin Tastes: #9 Van Moll - Wanderlust

In the Kevin Proeft series, Kevin van Hoorn, diplomatic beer sommelier, beer judge and amateur brewer shares his wondrous walk through alcohol-free beer country. Kevin has tasted 24 alcohol-free and low-alcohol beers, the experience of which he is going to share with you. All tasted beers can be found in the online store.

Van Moll - Wanderlust

From Moll, named after brewer Erwin van Moll saw the "light" in 2013 as Eindhoven's first brewpub, located on Keizersgracht in the city center. Since 2015, van Moll also organizes the famous van Moll fest from which breweries from around the world gather in Eindhoven.

With the Wanderlust , the nose gets to experience a bomb of citrus scents coming from Citra and Simcoe hops. You can think of grapefruit, lime, orange and starfruit.

The beer has quite a bit of bitterness paired with fruitiness of orange and lime, along with flavors of bread crust and maria cookies that make the beer balanced and complete.
